Televangelist & Politics

Rudy Giuliani, a Republican presidential candidate seemed happy when televangelist Pat Robertson decided to endorsed in his primary campaign. Robertson is a well known televangelist and is also the founder of the Christian Coalition. He said that it was his pleasure to support Giuliani in his presidential election. Giuliani, as everyone knows, support the abortion and gay rights. Now with Robertson standing by his side, his goals might come a step close than he expect it to be. He is glad to have evangelicals to support him even though some of them support Senator John McCain too. McCain was surprised at Robertson's support for Giuliani. He said he was speechless about this whole ordeal.

Robertson said that Giuliani helped New York out when it was deteriorating after the Spetember 11th attacks, decreased the crime rate in New York, and lowered the taxes and a whole bunch of other good things that he did for New York. He made Giuliani sounded like a great Presidential candidate by saying these good things about him. Giuliani said that since his support from Robertson, they got to know each other better. He said he have a better understanding of where Robertson is coming from and how he is as a person. Giuliani said that even though sometimes they doesn't always agree with each other's point of view, they both see the world in the same way.
