Evangelicals

Rev. John Splinter,a pastor at Bethany Evangelical Free Church and the founder of Point of Grace Community Church in Holmen, described himself as not an evangelical person anymore because his opinions of an evangelical person have differ in times nowadays. His beliefs is not the same anymore as he now is against the evangelical movement, but being theologically conservative is still at the core of his beliefs and that hasn't change for him. Another thing that haven't change are the beliefs of being evangelical. What are the beliefs of being evangelical? The core beliefs of being evangelical are: "an evangelical is someone who understands the Bible as the authoritative word of God, an evangelical has had a born-again experience, accepts Christ as savior and speaks of a personal relationship with Jesus and an evangelical witnesses his or her faith through words or works, seeking to bring others to Christ." Evangelicals tackle five important issues dealing with poverty, homosexuality, enovironment, one party & two party systems, and war. Rev. John Splinter now wants to follow one path and one path only and that is the path of Jesus Christ.
