Senator Larry Craig was arrested by an undercover officer for lewd misconduct in a Mens public restrooms. Craig pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct charges which he was fined for. Things got out to the public about his incident and Craig have to do something about it before he gets into more trouble. Craig did; he made an annoucment to the public for his inappropriate conduct which he said he was not responsible for. He also said he made a mistake by pleading guilty to the charges because he was trying to get it over with. Craig said he was not gay. He said he had made a poor decision in dealing with the situation and he just want to make the situation go away so he pleaded guilty to the lesser charges.
Senator Larry Craig apologized to the his family and friends and he said about the whole ordeal that have been dealt to him. Here is a speech about what Craig actually said: "I am not gay. I never have been gay.... In June, I overreacted and made a poor decision. I chose to plead guilty to a lesser charge in hopes of making it go away.... Please let me apologize to my family, friends and staff and fellow Idahoans for the cloud placed over Idaho. I did nothing wrong at the Minneapolis airport. I did nothing wrong, and I regret the decision to plead guilty and the sadness that decision has brought on my wife, on my family, friends, staff and fellow Idahoans." Things were not looking good for him because of all the trouble that got him into when he decided to engage in this sort of situation. Hopeful, Craig have deal with this situation before it deals with him.
